Where People Come to Dance
For over a century, the Arthur Murray name has meant one thing: a world-class dance experience that transforms complete beginners into confident dancers. We are proud to carry that tradition forward right here in Lakewood Ranch — one lesson at a time.
Our Story
Born from a Legacy of Excellence
Arthur Murray Lakewood Ranch is part of the world's most trusted dance studio network — a legacy dating back to 1912 when Arthur Murray pioneer-developed the principle that anyone can learn to dance with the right instruction. Over a century later, that philosophy drives every single class we teach.
Our Lakewood Ranch studio serves dancers across all skill levels and backgrounds. Whether you're a complete beginner stepping onto the floor for the first time, a couple looking for unforgettable date nights, or a wedding couple perfecting your First Dance, we meet you exactly where you are.
Our certified instructors are passionate about making dance approachable, fun, and life-changing. We don't just teach steps — we build confidence, connection, and community in Lakewood Ranch.

How We Teach
The Arthur Murray Method
Our curriculum is built on over 100 years of refining the most effective way to learn partner dance — private lessons, group classes, and social practice events working together so you progress faster than you ever thought possible.
Private Lessons
One-on-one instruction tailored entirely to your goals, your schedule, and your learning style. Your instructor focuses completely on you — no distractions, faster progress.
Group Classes
Learn with other Lakewood Ranch students in a fun, supportive environment. Group classes reinforce technique, help you adapt to different partners, and add a great social element to your journey.
Practice Parties
Put your skills to use in a real social setting. Our practice parties create the perfect low-pressure environment to try everything you've learned on our Lakewood Ranch studio floor.
